North Carolina recently passed a law that has gained relative infamy for its provisions relating to multiple-occupancy bathrooms in public schools and government buildings (HB2). There have been high profile repercussions from entertainers cancelling events, to companies declining planned expansion in North Carolina, to the U.S. Department of Justice finding HB2 to be a civil rights violation.
