The 2007 Office of Legal CounselÔÇÖs (OLC’s) Memorandum regarding the Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993 (RFRA) paved the way to┬áoverride the Act’s┬ánondiscrimination provisions. ┬áThis could┬áopen the door to┬áeven broader taxpayer-funded hiring discrimination in the future. ┬áSPI and coalition members wrote a letter to the U.S. President to request a review and repeal of the OLC’s dangerous Memorandum.
